David was airlifted to Springfield, MO due to the local hospital finding a baseball size tumor on the front right side of his brain.  Four days later they were able to have surgery and remove 70% of the tumor. It will take approximately two weeks before the results come back to know if it is cancerous or not and what the next steps will be towards his recovery.

With the initial ambulance ride to the hospital, being airlifted to Springfield, MO,  ICU for several days, the surgery , Keleigh's expenses while staying with him in Springfield and future unknown medical treatments coming his way, David and Keleigh could really use our financial support at this time.

Both David and his wife, Keleigh, work for Bentonville Schools. David is a role model to several students through his role in the classroom and as a coach. Keleigh is a psychological examiner for an elementary and middle school in the district. They have asked for prayers during this time. They have both indicated they don't expect anything from anyone, but sincerely appreciate the prayers.  We would like to come together and offer this young family any support through prayer and finances that we can. Please consider giving to this cause. Thank you!

10/8/18: Update on David Bradley from Keleigh:

He started, and finished, his second round of chemo last week (2 1/2 times what he was on before) and got very sick on Monday. They called HOG and the nurse told them a different order to take things and this helped, but by the weekend he was feeling very fatigued and not very well. He will have this and the next 2 weeks off before he starts his third round of chemo (1 week), then another 3 weeks off.

He has his next chemo oncologist appointment on 10/11 and they plan to ask for a date for his next MRI. That will be VERY telling, and they are both very anxious to see those results. Once they have those scans, they can make an appointment with MD Anderson in Houston for clinical trials.

Please continue to pray for both David and Keleigh. They are both still working full-time while he is going through this process. Any support you can give them is welcomed whether it be through prayer, acts of kindness, or donations.

Update 7/18/18: Keleigh texted yesterday and they finally got David’s results back. While it isn’t the news we wanted, there is hope! With their permission, here is what she told me.

“The tumor is cancerous and very aggressive. The biopsies confirmed it's at least a stage 3 or 4. Aggressive treatment will start in approximately 2 weeks, 5 days of radiation 2 days off for 6 weeks with chemotherapy as well. They'll do another scan in 2-6 weeks after treatment starts, then 2-4 months, then every 6 months indefinitely to see if it's working and go from there. There is currently no specific treatment for his particular mutations so they're going with the standard/general aggressive treatment.”

Please keep them in your prayers and continue to share the Go Fund me page.

Update 7/3/18: David was able to come home over the weekend. The doctor said it could take up to two weeks before they get results back. Please continue to pray for this family and help them financially if you can. They sincerely appreciate all the prayers and donations they have received!
