My father Dave, was involved in a motorcycle accident, when he was struck head on by a car, Thursday, May 31. He suffered severe trauma to his upper spinal cord and lower back, resulting in next day immediate surgery to remove a piece of his spine in his upper neck and relieve pressure. the feeling from his upper diaphragm down to his toes is gone and is currently on a ventilator to regulate breathing. His lower front right leg had a compound fracture that needed immediate attention.
      My father is currently "stable" and now resting comfortably from his surgery. He is the strongest of men whos beaten the odds more times than i can remember, from lifting 200 pound tree stumps and crushing a finger. All the way to beating a two year battle with stage 4 throat cancer.
     My father has a long, hard road ahead of him though with only more countless hours of surgery and rehabilitation. My family is asking that anyone who is willing to donate, whether it be $1000 or $1, anything and everything will be greatly appreciated to help in these hard times of need. Please keep my father in your prayers and in your heart.
