DAVE WINANS, SUPPORT CAMPAIGN

David is the husband of our church secretary.  This is his story...He went to the hospital on November 28, 2017 to see what was happening with his mechanical heart valve.  He then had to be taken by helicopter to Tampa hospital (120 miles from home)  On December 1st he was in heart failure-next step to be heart pump and transplant that was done on December 5th. December 6 had to have right ventrical assist device put in to help left side of heart as it recovers, also did V V Ecmo. Had to go on kidney dialysis and have a trach tube for breathing machine. Jan 16th he had midfoot amputations on both feet due to lack of oxygen damage.  Treatment plan is to get rid of feeding tube, ventilator, do PT and training wife on how to use heart pump that he will use the rest of his life. Funds needed ASAP. The money will be used for travel expenses back and forth to hospital, rental car (because family car is too old for extra miles), and a room to stay in while in Tampa.  When David comes home the family will need money for a car, medical bills and mortgage payments. David will not be able to work again and his wife just works part at the Church.
