As I write this Dave Wright is in the fight of his life in the ICU.
Both Kelly and Dave were reluctant to ask for help, and it is with great humility that they agreed to accept this offer.
Many of you may know that Kelly lost her job of 20 years in hospitality last year due to the pandemic, as did so many in that industry.
At the same time, their expenses are increasing due to medical bills from the emergency hospitalizations for Dave that happened prior to surgery, current hospital charges, and COBRA payments. Now they find themselves with additional expenses that will be required due to home medical equipment needed along with home health care once Dave is released. The road ahead will be long.
Kelly has been repeating this quote over the last several weeks. “If God puts a Goliath in front of you, He must believe there’s a David inside of you.” -- Unknown
