Dave Curran Holiday fund
Donation protected
Last week our friend and colleague at Manchester Victoria - Dave Curran - was the victim of an unprovoked violent attack whilst carrying out his door duties.
As a result of this attack, Dave has suffered some quite serious injuries - broken ribs, a punctured lung and head injuries.
Anyone who knows Dave knows that he is a happy, friendly, well mannered chap. The other thing we know about Dave, is that he likes to travel, and Dave and his wife were due to go away the day after this attack happened which they haven’t been able to do.
I thought it might be nice if we could try to get a pot together to help them towards booking a trip to help Dave with his recovery when he’s feeling up to it.
If you’re reading this and you don’t know Dave personally, then maybe you are someone who understands and appreciates the challenges that our guards face on a daily basis and thus would be kind enough to spare a couple of pounds to help.
Any donations large or small would be greatly received.
