Dave Burrows Family Assistance

Dave Burrows has been a member of Ford Motor Company and the UAW local 862 since 1993.  He has been at both Louisville Assembley and Kentucky Truck Plant.  During the recent years Dave has had a constant life battle.  His 15 year old son Noah has been battling Lukemia for a few years and still has a year of chemo left.  Dave himself was diagnosed with stage 4 Esophageal cancer.  He has undergone radiation and chemo over the last year.  Dave makes every attempt to continue to provide for his family by reporting to work everyday he has the strength.  He recently totaled his vehicle on his way home from work.  He is the type of man you meet and instantly love.  He has never complained or been negative about his life or the challenges he faces.  He goes out of his way to help anyone in need, to include his mentally ill brother who is constantly in and out of the hospital.  Recently Dave completed his second round of radition and was hopefull of the results.  However the scan has come back with devestating information.  The cancer has now spread to Daves brain.  In the coming months life will continue to become more difficult for himself and his family.  Dave is not only my employee but a true friend.  We are trying to raise money to ensure Dave can be at ease knowing himself and his family will continue to have income during the next round of treatments in the coming months.  We also ask for prayers and continued support.  Please help us with any donation you can make.
