Dave and Patti Bova Cancer Fund

Dave Bova and Patti Conta-Bova, two wonderful individuals, parents of three fabulous children (adopted biological siblings), and true friends that would do anything for anyone are now in need of OUR help. Patti was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung and brain cancer back in November, and then just recently, Dave was diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Both have started treatment at Roswell Park, which will require multiple hospital visits over the next several months. Although they are both strong and will continue to fight, the financial stress is taking its toll on both of them and their three children.
Adding to this stress was the recent unexpected death of Patti's brother Ray Conta after fighting for years to get a much needed heart transplant. Patti was the one who took the time to organize the fundraiser that eventually got Ray the heart he needed. However, Ray succumbed from other complications two years later, and passed away this past week.
As friends of the Bova's, we ask that you consider making a donation to the family. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and will help with the financial burden that comes along with their constant care not covered by insurance. The funds will allow for them to maintain some normalcy of life for their family without the added stress. After paying for their large treatment costs, their primary focus will be on the well-being of their children without worrying about their many needs.

A fundraiser is scheduled for July 22, 2017, 2-7pm at Saint Teresa's School Hall 33 Mineral Springs Road West Seneca, NY. The cost is $25 or $30 at the door and includes food, beer, and wine.
