Jervis Bay Students to Uluru 2017
Donation protected
We are Indigenous Year 5/6 students from Jervis Bay School. We are trying to raise much needed funds for our learning journey to Uluru in Sept 2017. Our learning journey is part of our Junior Rangers program where we learn about National Park management and sustainability. Our school is located within the Booderee National Park which is owned and jointly run by the Wreck Bay Aboriginal People and Parks Australia. Booderee is one of 3 jointly run National Parks in Australia and we hope to get to the Kata-Tjuta National Park (Uluru) for our learning next year. We are raising as much money as possible to help with our travel, accommodation and cultural activities.
Being able to engage with the students from Mutijulu School means alot to us as we can share our knowledge as saltwater children with the students from the desert and learn their culture and traditions.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated and recognised in our school newsletter. This learning journey is a signifcant event for the people of the Wreck Bay Community and your assistance will ensure this excursion happens.
Thankyou.
