Darren's fight against Lukemia!

In May 2017, Darren asked the beautiful Ashlee to marry him and of course Ashlee said YES!

Two months later in July, Darren had a major back operation.

Two months after Darren’s operation, in September, Darren and Ashlee became pregnant with baby Axel. Darren and Ashlee couldn’t be happier and started planning for their new arrival.

But just two very short months later, in November, Darren suffering from back pain was hospitalised and sadly diagnosed with ALL; an aggressive form of Lukemia. Darren was transferred to the Royal Brisbane Hospital the following day to begin tests and treatment.

Given Darren’s diagnosis and all the ‘unknowns’ that come with Cancer, one month later in December Darren and Ashlee married in the hospital chapel.

And again one month later in January 2018, there was more bad news! Darren and Ashlee where unable to manage their Driver Training business, and they unfortunately had to let staff go and sell their business.

Five months later, in May, Darren and Ashlee bought their very first house but it needed a little TLC to turn it into their home.

So in June, between chemo, operations and the upcoming arrival of baby Axel, Darren started renovating their house. But little baby Axel had other plans! After a few complications Axel was born two weeks early via an emergency cesarean weighing a tiny 4.6pounds.  

Darren is now so sick that he has had stop chemo.

So after 12 months of operations, chemotherapy, tests, hospital visits, closing down their business, buying a house, partially renovating their home, having an emergency caesarean and bringing home a tiny new baby, these guys understandably need a little help!

Lets support Darren and Ashlee by alleviating some of life’s financial pressures and help them get a few mortgage payments under their belt.
