Funeral Funds for Darnell Childress

On Sunday June 12, 2016 we lost a Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Friend in Jerry Darnell Childress. It's with heavy hearts that we come to you first asking for prayer through these trying times, but also calling out to our friends and family to help lay him to rest.
Passionate, loving, funny, life of the party, those are just a few adjectives that help describe him but they still fail to capture all that he was. Darnell, or as many of us called him "Pooh", always bragging about his dimples, and constantly kept an infectious smile upon his face. He loved his family and friends dearly, and you couldn't tell him nothing he didn't know about USC football.
We want to thank all those who have called, texted, and sent condolences.

My name is Torry Labon, originally from Los Angeles, California and currently residing in Reseda, California. Darnell was my cousin but we were more like brothers. All donations that are received will be used to cover the cost for burial. Upon hitting our goal I will be withdrawing the funds and making payments for funeral expenses.
