My mom, Darlene Scott (Kimbrell) Hindes, passed away on April 30 in Lubbock Texas. She was 78 years old. Darlene loved the Lord, all things Alaska, pink, art and her family and grand children.
Darlene was a loving mother and wife. She had a passion for art that included an Art Gallery in Kenai Alaska in the late 70's. She enjoyed seeing nature at its best in the wilderness or in a local park.
Darlene had a strong prayer life. She included many strangers she came in contact with and let them know the Lord loved them. She was very personable and made time to talk with those around her.
She wanted to donate her body to science but that was no longer possible. In lieu of flowers please consider blessing her husband Chris Hindes and me as we manage expenses in her passing.
Funds are for funeral arrangements and expenses left in her passing that Darlene shared with Chris.
The funds will go directly to me, Tim Kimbrell, as I will be helping with final expenses.
