Learn Reiki Philadelphia is moving to Old City on June 2!
As you likely know, our current location on Jeweler's Row is set for demolition to make way for a 29 story luxury condo project. While I hope the historic preservation efforts will prove successful, the volitility this presents makes it impossible continue business in our current location. I've finally found a great space that suits all of our needs and more!
This upgrade will greatly expand what we do...taking things from an "I" to a "we" is an exciting-and challenging endeavor. I started Learn Reiki Philadelphia from the ground up almost 9 years ago at Philadelphia Community Acupuncture (50th and Baltimore) where I worked the front desk in exchange for a place to teach and treat.
I've been saving for this move since the demolition notice was posted in August. While those savings get us into our new space the expenses of relaunching in a new location are steep and taking a loan would mean I have to raise my prices. My policy has always been that cost should not be a barrier to healing, though I need your help to keep affordability part of my core mission and help me expand the impact of our growing Reiki community.
By contributing, you will invest in Reiki's future in Philadelphia and help build a home of love, support and healing for everyone who seeks it.
Your support will immediately help us:
-Provide affordable community Reiki sessions (that employ grads!) on a reguar basis
-Allow us to add several new courses of study and types of services
-Offer space to grads and other practitioners as they begin or expand their professional practices
-Bring more opportunities for students & grads to practice treating and teaching
-Add a small retail area featuring crystals and items crafted by grads, local artisans and even one of the displaced neighbors in our current building
Consider contributing anything you can as every bit counts! You all know how frugal I am...I plan on stretching every last dollar :-)
