As many of you may have already seen from the New4Jax story, Daniel Sarama, 17yrs old was hit by a car on May 22nd while walking on the side walk of 103rd going from school to his job nearby.
The driver that hit him had 2 kilograms of cocaine in his procession and was arrested and is being charged for the accident.
The impact of the car has caused Daniel internal bleeding, multiple surgeries on his spleen, both legs, liver, hand, lungs, and not to mention open heart surgery to repair his aorta which was cut in half.
After all the surgeries, physical therapists have said there will be extensive rehab needed. UF Health hospital is trying to discharge him because of some mix up with medical insurance or limitation that the insurance is placing on his care.
This Go Fund Me account is to help the family and Daniel with any medical expenses and rehabilitation that insurance is not going to cover at this time as well as to help Daniels father as he hasn’t been able to work since the accident.
