Daniel Averett's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
We have lost our beloved 19 year old son this afternoon to suicide.
Daniel is my first born. My baby.
There are those of you who know my story and those if you who do not.
When I became clean and sober in May of 2013, my entire focus, my drive, my purpose was to make amends to he and his sister.
Years lost.
Years regained.
I personally struggle from Mental Illness.
I work as a Residential Mental Health Councilor in the field.
The guilt and pain I feel that I never saw the signs in my own child is far too much to bear.
Our family had been hit so hard by this.
My own Mom just experienced the pain of losing her husband, my step dad on July 28th.
Our cat Stanley was hit by a car the morning of my step dad's funeral.
I have spent my entire "new" life in sobriety helping others.
Assisting clients who suffer.
To be left asking myself if I could've done more or should have done more for my son is just too much.
Daniel was/is a gifted, intelligent, loving soul.
He is a recent graduate of Sam Barlow High School. in Gresham, Oregon . Class of 2018.
He worked the past year at Amazon in Troutdale, Oregon and just began a new career with Fed-Ex this past week.
A love of music, video games and his black cat, Theo.
I never ask for anything.
I ask for your support in assisting us with his final expenses.
I ask that you hold your lived ones tight.
He is left behind by myself, his father, Clayton Hancock, his siblings, Lindsay, Wyatt and Ian , and his half siblings, Jasmine Morasch, India Patterson  and many extended family and friends.
Most importantly, his Grandma Julie Averett who he was extremely close to.
We are are all just at a complete loss, absolutely heartbroken and devistated.
Please share and help in any way.
