Although I may not be in the best of terms with my family at this moment, they are still my family. I don't do this often, however this is very important to me. One of my mentors often say, "Pride comes before the fall". Putting all pride aside, I would like to ask all my friends and family, acquaintances, FB friends and anyone else that can donate to help my father.
Anyone that knows him would say that he's a great man. All throughout my childhood I remember him and my mother always lending a helping hand to absolutely anyone. They never saw race, age, sex, religion or anything to help anyone in need. I hope that everything they did to help all through their lives comes back to them as well now that they are in time of need.
I am the way I am thanks to him and my mother. They raised my siblings and me to the best of their ability. I am forever thankful for everything they ever taught me. God knows that if I had the means to help them like they helped everyone else I would.
Ever since I can remember my dad has had diabetes. Now that he is older, this disease is getting the best of him. My mother can only do so much and I know they need all the help they can get.
He's been to the hospital four times for the same reason. Anytime he gets hurt (bruised, small cuts) the wound gets extremely bad because of the diabetes. About three years ago he hurt his foot and the diabetes made it extremely worst. The doctors were actually talking about amputating his foot. Thank God that he was able to get better. This time, his heel from his right foot is getting really bad.
All the money raised will go to help them with their bills and medical expenses. In this condition my father is not able to work and my mother is struggling with their finances. I would love for my father to get the medical attention he needs without having to stress about their finances. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone in advance.
