Bring Dance Back to Skokie @ NSDT

North Shore Dance & Theater  (NSDT) has been sharing their love for dance, theater, and the performing arts since 1994. Unfortunately, NSDT lost our lease and had to leave their location of sixteen years in June 2015 and cannot currently afford to move to a new space. NSDT is trying to raise money to reopen in a new home in the Skokie/Niles area. Embracing a philosophy of passion, technique, self-confidence, exploration, and success, NSDT offers pre-professional, family-oriented training in dance, theater and the related arts to students ages three through adult. Their staff includes advanced degreed instructors who complement their teaching careers with professional work in the dance and dramatic arts industries.

Many of NSDT’s current and former students represent the nonprofit organization throughout the community, using the skills they have developed with us in the following areas: community theater, high school and college acting troupes, professional theater and national dance ensembles. But most importantly, NSDT fosters a love of dance, theater and the fine arts in even their youngest students.
