Dance Opportunity for Raelyn Barlow

Miss Raelyn is 11 yrs old and she has been in dance for 4 years. She dances with my daughter....she is one of her besties :-). Recently, our dance school attended a competition put on by Encore!. Raelyn performed a solo act that placed 2nd! The judges saw something in Raelyn that was above and beyond and awarded her with a scholarship. The scholarship was awarded to 5 individuals that showed potential to go above and beyond. It is $1000 to attend Discovery Spotlight. ( https://www.discoveryspotlight.com/ ) This is an expo that is selective with participants and exposes them to workshops, training and talent scouts. The Talent National Expo goes for three days and offers

1 EXCITING EVENT!
With her scholarship and automatic acceptance to this expo, her family will still have to come up with another $2,500. The scholarship only covered a portion of the registration fee...they will still need to pay another $1,500 for that along with travel / lodging expenses as it is out of state in South Carolina. Her family has only 60 days to make the commitment of going and putting down the money for registration.
Raelyn is a very driven and hardworking little girl. Making High Honor roll every marking period of her first year in middle school, is in cheerleading and dance, and one of the kindest friends to my daughter. I must see her go to this event. In my opinion it was a very well earned opportunity to get automatic acceptance along with $1000!!! She is one of 5 children in a family that struggles paycheck to paycheck. Without help, this wonderful girl will not be able to attend this expo that could teach her skills, lessons and expose her to professionals that could help her reach future goals in dance. To say that this is an excellent opportunity for this little kiddo from a small town is an understatement. Any donations would be very appreciated! Let's get Raelyn to South Carolina to show the world what she is capable of!!!
