Dana Bestpitch - Road to Recovery

On January 16th, Dana Bestpitch was at work.  She was working with a new hire to connect some dollies to a tug. They were getting ready to load an aircraft.  In the blink of an eye Dana’s life would change.  She got smashed between a Dolly and a Tug.  Her left leg crushed.  She was taken by ambulance to the hospital and went into surgery.


Six surgeries later.  Her body parted out in so many different places for muscle, blood vessels and skin. The whole time so optimistic and hopeful. I saw Dana today. She had to be rushed to the hospital.  The area near her ankle where muscle and blood vessels were transplanted has died. Infection is setting in.  Her foot was swollen very badly and she had a fever.  The next step may be amputation.  

Dana is a genuinely wonderful person. She is a single mother with two kids. If you can do anything to help her and her family, please do.  Dana will go out of her way to help anyone. Let’s do the same for her and her children. Thank you.
