Damages due to attempted arson

On Tuesday night, my ex partner set alight my sons foam mattress in a rental unit and has damaged the unit that much that we cannot return home as their is a risk to our health due to the fumes.  My son has lost everything in his room and as a single mother I can’t afford to replace what he has lost and Also pay for the damages.
