Dalmation's extensive surgery cost

Hello all! let me start by saying thank you for taking a few minutes to read this.

It happened February 2nd around 1am on a highway in Missouri. My brother, a disabled army veteran, and his beautiful Dalmatian, Baby Girl, were driving across the country to move back closer to family.

Having recently had to resign from his job due to health issues he gathered all his possessions, what money he could scrape up from selling unwanted items, and Baby Girl and was moving back closer to family in the Pittsburgh area.

His trip was going well although he was burning through his saved money quickly in gas since he was pulling a small camper loaded with all of his belongings, and refilling his tank every 100 miles.

Then, around 1am, it happened. An 18 wheeler flew by and created a tailwind that send my brothers loaded camper fish tailing back and forth. He tried to regain control but everything happened so fast, and in a split second he was flipping through the air down into the grassy center median.

The SUV flipped 4 times before landing on its roof, the camper was ripped in half, the SUV was totaled, and all of his possessions thrown all over the highway destroying countess memories and thousands of dollars worth of belongings, and poor Baby Girl was thrown from the vehicle during the accident.

Miraculously my brother was able to make it out of the car and ran straight to Baby Girl finding the dog bed and wrapping her in a blanket and comforting her until help arrived.  She was taken to the Vet immediately the next morning. This is when the bills started stacking up.

Baby Girl had a broken jaw with multiple fraxtures and a hernia... her intestines has dropped down into a pocket and we're pushing out her stomach.  The initial vet bill was $389 which was paid by a family friend as a loan.  A few days later once they made it safely back to Pittsburgh Baby Girl was taken to the ER for surgery on Saturday the 4th. Where she was to get emergency hernia surgery. This initial bill was $4500, which again was paid by a family friend as a loan.  She will be in the hospital for a few days where complications could cause the bill to continue to rise.

I made this GoFundMe page because I knew my brother needed help and I didn't know what else to do. He is now left without a vehicle,  no money, lost countless belongings, no place to live, and nearly five thousand dollars in vet bills.

I'm asking from the bottom of my heart for any help you can give.  All of the money raised will be going to pay for vet bills and medicine for Baby Girl.  Our entire family thanks you so much for your support and generosity!

thank you
