Dalia Shimon (Dalia bat Nadra Shoshana)

As many of you know, my mom, Dalia Shimon, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma this past February 2019. Her course was complicated and during the past 8 months my mom fought as hard as she could. She received excellent care from her physicians and nurses, and the many people who love her. Unfortunately, the disease has progressed and my mom is being placed on hospice, which is requiring additional expenses and aid.
It’s silly to say that this has been an extremely difficult period. The last few months especially have been a lot more than that. With her broken English, a full heart, and wealth of kindness she provided so many children and adults a chance to be unconditionally loved. Most importantly, despite everything, not once has my mom lost faith or questioned G-d and His plans for her. My mom’s illness has taken its toll on us, but it’s also given a lot of people the chance to thank my mom for what she has done for them, their families, and for the community.
We are extremely grateful, and we know that it’s never easy to ask for help, but we need it. Please consider helping us defray hospice and funeral related costs. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
