Dad's Rehabilitation

As most of you know, my Dad suffered a severe car accident just over three years ago up in Minnesota and has been paralyzed below his neck ever since. Since that time, we've been through a lot. A lot of tears, frustration, agony, and hope that Dad will get back to living a normal life someday. Most days, Dad is confined to his wheelchair and/or his bed, which is all in the same living room of his home. Someone has to move him back and forth every day, feed him, change his clothes, etc. So, while living a normal life again doesn't seem possible at the moment, we are striving for him to at least gain as much of his body as he can, or at least see if it's a possibility. 

Dad has health insurance, which will pay for physical therapy for him to work on his arm/leg movement. However, he can't get back to physical therapy until doctors say he is making enough improvement with his current treatment, which is not covered by health insurance. He's been doing a program called ABLE, Activity-Based Locomotor Exercise program for the past couple months and they say he's really gaining a lot strength. They basically say we need to keep going with the program for 3 more months and see if he can improve enough to get put back into physical therapy - basically go big or go home for 3 months and see what happens. 

He has run through a lot of money/assets and is asking for help. I sometimes don't like gofundme pages, because I feel like a lot of them could be avoided if they simply had insurance in place. However, there are times for them and I believe this is one of them. His next 3 months will help determine a lot for the rest of his life and I'd like to help as much as I can. The cost of the ABLE program for this next time is going to be $4,600. If you feel like you're in a position to help even a little, he would really appreciate it.
