Hope for Halima

Halima was born without a bowel opening.  She had an operation at one day old where she received a colostomy. She was meant to have several other surgeries but that did not happen and her mother was told her bowel may not be operable. This information was not from a doctor.
Until now there was believed to be no hope of any cure for Halima.

Canan is an ex sponsor child of Compassion Australia. Halyley sponsored  Canan from the age of 6 and he continued through to university and  became a teacher. He has had great impact in many lives in his community.

Through continued friendship over the years with Canan we have been made aware of Halima's story.

To date we have enabled Halima to have further investigatory procedures at Platinum Hospital, Kampala (https://www.platinummedicalcentre.org/)
As a result the doctors have informed her that she is able to receive the required operation to function normally. We would love to see her receive this miracle. 

As the family would never have this sort of money required for her operation we are now asking for your support. We are hoping to raise enough so that Halima can receive her treatment and show her that many care about her.
