Dear Brother,
Do you know how many times you have saved my life? Being the older brother, I thought, it would be the other way around. You have taught me peace, love and patience like no one else could. Now, I have a chance to show you how much you mean to me. You are young and strong and we will overcome anything together. I will never leave your side. I will do anything for you. I cannot make it without you, so , you must survive. There is not another soul on this earth I love more....
Two days after my 42nd birthday, I received the worst news of my life. My brother, Keegan F. Mckenna, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with a malignant neoplasm of the central nervous system. In short, he has a tumor next to his L3 that has intertwined with his spinal cord. The immediate proposed treatment is surgical resection of the mass, followed by chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
My aim is to collect a fund for his medical expenses. This is a hard thing to ask for. I know he would never do it himself. However, to save Keegan's life, pride has to be swallowed. My family will give up everything we have to save him and it still won't be enough. The monetary goal I set was arbitrary. I cannot fathom the expenses that we will face. I tried to type in "until he is healed." It would only let me type numerals...
I want to form an army around my brother. He deserves this. Money is not the only way to help. Do you have ideas? I've been studying hydrogen peroxide therapy for sometime now. I'm inclined to find other avenues and seek second opinions about alternative treatments. I am not convinced the traditional western medicine approach is the best way to proceed. Sharing contacts, personal experience or any pertinent information would also be helpful.
Those of you who might be lucky enough to know Keegan, will agree, there isn't a more pure, giving and loving individual in existence who deserves our support. I hope that others will agree, this world is far better off with him in it....
