Charlie a dark S&P Miniature schnauzer is still missing.
He was last seen around 12:30pm 3/29/2017 @ 1146 Spencer Pike Springville IN on the road heading towards Popcorn Rd.

We are still chasing any leads. It very possible he was picked up and is being held, hostage!
Times just don't add up.. Boots and Charlie  were last seen togeather at 12:30 pm, and  at 12:45 pm , The Beehive Horse Farm  located about a mile away from my house  called to say they had Boots.

note: she had him a bit before calling, they brought him to their neighbors first, because they also have a schnauzer, Then they called homeagain to get our number.. So that would mean it was less then 5 minutes between when Joe saw them togeather at the top of our driveway and Boots was picked up.  Most probably both were in a car and Boots was let go as less desirable.

We are offering $200 REWARD FOR  HIS SAFE RETURN!

Funds for this Campain will be used to Pay for Flyers and mailers to our area, If we get over the requested amount I may go to a larger area.

to do 1800 households it will cost me approx  $455.00
$330 for  delivery
$125 for Printing and  ground Shipping

Funds need to be raised ASAP as it will take nearly a week to get items from the Printer.
( If Charlie is located before these go to Print,
all Funds will be donated to Schnauzer Love Rescue. )

But by now could be anywhere !!

08-29-2017 Its been 4 months since last update, 5 months today since we last saw Charlie . Its been a long 5 months , back In May I travled to Ohio to look at a dog they felt could be a match but he was in very rough shape so I wanted to see him in person. I believe in something like karma, that things happen for a reason.. Cole, was very thin, and has severe corneal scaring and Chronicly infected ears... But I felt, that Austin one of my Schnaunzers who passed last October , had guided Cole to rescue, then sent me to him. So even though he wasn't Charlie he came home. Boots was super depressed at this time and needed a dog buddy and Cole needed some TLC. Another few months went by, we drove to shelters all over Indiana, met lots of sweet dogs that weren't Charlie. I must of poured over pictures hundreds of dogs daily from all over. Ones that looked like him were reclaimed, or turned out to be girls, or had natural tails... one that was closest and still looks closest was in tampa but they insist he is a senior and the shelter had all his teeth pulled, I never had hands on him so I don't know..... His tail did look too long, so I have let it go he is in a good home now .. Last week a black and silver came into animal control in TN. Just a head shot was posted, but he had the same eyes , and bat ears . On the last day of his strayhold I drove down with a friend the 5+ hours to Knoxville to see the dog .. on the way they sent us more pictures. He still looked like Charlie, just thinner, and with Horrible full thickness chemical, or radial heat burn all down his back , that was about 50% healed. I met him with Boots later that day. He is a sweet young dog, but wasn't Charlie. The worst bit was getting that feeling that I was sent here too, but this time by Charlie. It isn't the first time I felt a former animal familiar has sent another animal my way... I will keep looking , but at this point ,I think it will be for his collar . Coyotes are thick right now, and if he was still out roaming ...... I took the TN dog home , as Foster to adopt, becuse its a short stray hold, we wanted to give a little time for someone to see him. But its been over a week now and I haven't seen any posts , or gitten any calls from the ACO's that he is even being looked for. After a few days we named him , CBRNy - Cee Bernie. For several reasons, he has some type of hazmat injury, and he was from Oakridge TN, home of the Uranium enrichment facility for the Manhattan Project .. With the addition of Cee Bernie, who is currently cuddled on my Lap I fear we won't see Charlie again . But this has given Birth to another project, Broken Schnauzer Retirement Farm . Since all the dogs here, are broken, or hard to adopt cases. Boots was a foster failure, becuse he is epeliptic. Cole will be in constant need of extra TLC. He needs weekly deep ear cleaning , and at least bi-weekly ear flushes. As well as daily eye drops. Bernie, will need to be kept covered , and twice daily monitering and care for at least another 4-8 weeks while his back heals. I would like to go full into this , but vetting gets exspensive. Boots maintenance medication cost about $1 day, and he gets a yearly blood test to check his levels approx $75. Cole will need to be kept on eye drops ($5 mo) and I keep Oxytetracycline ointment ($15) handy for eye infections. He also needs ear cleaner, which runs another $5-20, Right now Bernie is the biggest cost, He fits in T4 cotton tshirts but they need to be frequently washed and changed out so I could use another pack or two of white cotton shirts. I need to get him into my vet this week. Est. $120-300 . He feels like he could possibly have had broken ribs that healed, and he occasionally favors his left rear leg, so even though its an old injury, it might be a good idea to get xrays ..... He was sent home with Collodial Silver and Honey ointment, but i'll run out soon.. he is doing well on bactine spary, neosporin, and gelitain violet paint in rotation, but I would like to get him some emu oil, I have been told it helps reduce scarring and can help stimulate hair regrowth. But locally they want nearly $40 for a little bottle .. ( suggestions for distributor welcome) . Right now I am only collecting thoughts and Information. I am greatfull for everyone that helped with Charlies mailers .

April update:
I have 2000 postcards coming, eta 4-30-17, that I probably can't use as mailers unless I pay 35c and individually stamp them.($680)( vs 16c each ($325ish)).

My bad I'll sell a goat or a lamb and eat that cost, it was only $100 print and ship so it could be worse.

But its ok because I can still use those 2k as handouts get them into places that are out of my mailing areas: churches, rest stops, shelters, grooming, vets offices, malls ect ect.. So all is not a waste.

I'm double checking print and mailers from local shops and will see if I can get another order up with the correct insignia printed on them fo the post office can just mail them I don't want to lose any more time .

Cee Bernie, in the t-shirt, Boots is currently beardless, he ran into a skunk. Cole on the right.
