To our family and friends, my sister Cheryl is in need of some help with her medical bills due to having Lung Cancer. Cheryl is a very strong woman and for her to say I need help this time, she REALLY needs it. She fought and beat cancer once 3-4 years ago and never asked for help.
Her insurance sucks and her co pays are out of this world. I can tell you that one round of chemo is going to cost her $1300 for her co-pay. There are other tests and things that need to be done and she doesn't know how much those things are going to cost. The treatment includes chemo and radiation. Cheryl is not a candidate for surgery so chemo and radiation will be her treatment plan.
As some of you may know she already started treatment on the 26th of Dec. The treatment is very costly and she doesn't need to worry about how she is going to pay for it. She needs to focus on her health and beating this.
Cheryl is an amazing, kind, loving, humorous, intelligent woman and if any of you have had the pleasure of meeting her then you know she's that and so much more. She is a daughter, sister, cousin,friend, mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother to many.
