Feed the need

Every day I give thanks for the health of our two daughters. I am also thankful that we have good health insurance that will see us through any health issues that may occur. And.. I am thankful that we don’t have to choose between life-saving medicine for our children and food on the table. Not all people are this fortunate. Not all parents have healthy children. And many parents (and people) DO have to choose between food and medicine. Our daughter has two students with devestating illnesses. One with leukemia and one just diagnosed with a (hopefully non-cancerous) brain tumor.  The families of these children live at or below the poverty level and are now facing mounting medical bills, and may have to face the medicine/food choice. We want to help. Can you? In honor of Sierra’s 23rd birthday (October 18th), please consider making a donation to allow Sierra to purchase grocery gift cards for the families of her two students.
