Help for stray cat

This stray cat showed up at my house Sunday, Mother’s Day morning with his head severely tilted to one side and he was unable to stand and walk more than a step without falling over. He didn’t have any visible injuries. I canvassed the neighborhood for over an hour and nobody knew where he might live. I couldn’t just leave him debilitated, so I took him to an emergency vet visit. The vet was pretty certain he has an inner ear infection. After ear cleaning, ear medicine, 2 shots, and a flea/ear mite treatment, the bill came to $258.17.   I needed to help this cat, but really can’t afford it. I would be so grateful if there are animal lovers who might help pay for “Chester’s” treatment. He has been in my basement since that day so I can monitor his progress, but he will need follow-up treatment.
