Our Sammy

On January 21, 2016 my brother Christian was struck with the sudden passing of his sweetest friend and companion Samantha. Sammy is a member of our family and we have all been deeply saddened by this event. Anyone lucky enough to have met Sammy knows that she is the embodiment tenderness and unconditional love. In just under 6 years Sammy touched so many countless lives everywhere she went. She warmed our hearts, she befriended all people, cats and dogs and even taught the smallest amongst us the lessons of love over fear. "She was truly the sweetest, happiest dog ever and I am grateful to have had the experience of rescuing her and providing her the best life possible." Said my brother, Christian, the day she passed on. 

As we go forward remembering and cherishing our dear friend, the other unfortunate side of these events are the financial costs we have to bare. We decided to start this campaign in order to help lighten the burden my brother now bares in this time of need. All of the funds we  raise will be going to help cover the veterinary bills. We hope to raise our target amount over the next 8 weeks. 

This campaign is aimed at creating an opportunity to reach out and show our appreciation, our love and our support for Christian and to show our love for one of the greatest teachers of life's lessons: our love, our companion, our angel, our Sammy.
