Help Me Finish My Home

It was a simple plan: retire to a home I built myself. A lifelong dream. Then the unexpected happened: part of the capital needed to build it got tied up in a real estate deal that went south. There were no "bad guys"; no one was trying to ruin me. But it took over three years to close, with no option to withdraw from the contract. Consequently I lost roughly half of my capital. I'm so close to finishing, but the losses from the deal, coupled with multiple health issues (including Lyme) have cut short my dream. I'm hoping there are a few kind souls out there willing to lend a hand. It's not something I'd ordinarily choose to do, but my options have dwindled.
