Michaela's dream

My name is Veronika, on Monday 11th of August 2014 my five year old daughter Michaela was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

She has already started her chemotherapy this week and been transferred from basildon hospital to great ormond street hospital in London.
I'm hoping to raise enough money to give Michaela something to look forward to when she gets through this, I know she will. She's my baby and she is strong, I know with the help and support around us we will all get through this.

Her dream is to meet tinker bell in pixie hollow, I am so grateful for everyone who is helping us get Michaela her dream come true, to everyone who has donated and shared her facebook page, and to everyone who has raised money other ways.

I'm spending all of my time with my daughter so she is not alone, but I have a strong team behind me helping me raise the funds.

Thank you everyone and if you could share this I would be so grateful and I'm sure Michaela will be too,

Thank you
Veronika (michaela's mummy)

I want to thank you all for all the generous donations we have been receiving.
Michaela is doing really well.
Last week she went to school part time and this Tuesday she done whole day at school, for the first time since she got poorly!
She is getting used to all the horrible treatments she has to go thru and this week lumbar puncture she didn't cry at all!
I have allowed her to use little of her funds for a little treat. She had elsa from frozen visiting her. Michaela got all dressed up and had truly magical time. She was so happy.
We are at interim maintenance stage where she hasn't got lots of treatment every week. In 5 weeks time we will go into delayed intensification which we are dreading...
Thank you all for all your support and kind messages we have been receiving

wow! we have reached our target and more!
I want to thank you for all your support.
We will be raising money for the duration of Michaela's treatment. She will get spending money for her dream trip too.
Anything left over will be split between Basildon hospital wagtail ward and Gosh.
We have been contacted by so many wonderful people offering to help Even a school in Leigh!!
Very nice lady who I know over facebook is going to have sponsored haircut in few days time and her hair will be made into a wig for Michaela. She has been messaging Michaela since day one kerping her spirits up xx
Michaela is doing very well, had chemo yestreday and is home now making crafts and keeping herself busy.
I think we are having less chemo side effects this week.
Please keep Michaela in your prayers x
Thank you xxx

I wanted to say big thank you for all your generous donations.
Michaela is responding well to the treatment.
She keeps having more good days and is even having little walks in the park!
She still has days where she is in too much pain to get out of bed. She is very strong and brave young lady and we are very proud of her.
She knows there is Disney trip for her when she gets better. She knows there are amazing people out there who take bit of their time to help make her her dream come true.
She is currently having chemo every friday. But soon we will find out her last bone marrow results. I pray that we will get good news.
She is loosing her hair, so we cut her hair short.
Devastating for any girly little girl. She sees positive in everything and told me that she won't have to brush her hair anymore!
I will post more updates once I get some more time.
Again. thank you all so much.
