Jimmy’s Medical Expenses

This is Jimmy. Jimmy just turned 6 on Christmas 2018. I got Jimmy when he was only 5 weeks old.  Jimmy has been in perfect health his whole life with no issues whatsoever. Recently out of nowhere, Jimmy jumped off the bed and triggered an injury that no one knew he had, and the vet said the injury is also considered a birth defect. It’s a fracture on his elbow on a small piece of bone that can go unnoticed if ever discovered. When he jumped this day the piece of bone actually shifted just enough to start his problems. He had already obtained arthritis in the elbow from the fracture existing. Due to the bone shifting, it caused a major infection and he now has septic arthritis and is fighting for his life if he goes untreated. The infection will cause death. He was admitted to the Care Center in BlueAsh yesterday. Jimmy has a 100% survival expectancy and full recovery without losing his leg. He does have to have surgery in two to three weeks once the infection is beat. We have exhausted all of our financial means for the care he has received at this point. I’m going to return some Christmas gifts I received to help raise the money for his treatment. Jimmy is not just a dog. He is a worker, my best friend, and a memeber of my family. He is my personal therapy dog. He has been in school since he has been 10 weeks old. I have never asked anyone for help in anyway. My husband and I are those people that go out of our way to help others and to work for anything and everything we need. This just unfortunately came at a bad time financially due to not being able to work because of the weather. But life happens and you never know know when and why things happen. I love my Jimmy more than I could ever express. He has saved my life numerous times, and keeps me from getting lost in my depression. Any and all help is genuinely and truly appreciated. I will continue to fight and do what I have to do, to save his life as he has done for me. I didn’t want to do a go fund me, but it has been recommended to me by a few people now. He has so much life left, and I truly want him to be here so I can be a part of it. I’m so touched by the support and prayers from all of my friends and family that know Jimmy and myself.  Most definitely keep the prayers going and thank you all for all the support.
