Help Dan Fight the Good Fight

Donation protected
14 years ago, Dan gave the kidney that saved his  brother's life. A year and a half ago, Dan was struck down by MGN, a disease that attacked his remaining kidney. After many hospital stays, treatments and a near-miss with death, the doctors couldn't save his remaining kidney and it recently had to be removed.
He continues to endure dialysis 3 times a week.
The organ transplant doctors say another surgery is required before they will consider a transplant. Dan and his loving wife, Katrina, have a long row to hoe.

Their loss of income has been devastating. They have burned through their savings, maxed out credit cards and were forced to drain their retirement accounts.
I recently learned about GFM and now, I'm honored to have this opportunity to help my friend. This campaign is the best way to help relieve Dan and Katrina's heavy burden as they struggle through this terribly stressful time.

For the 37 years I've known Dan, he has been a rock in my life. He gives 110% to his wife and kids, his family and friends, his career and his musical endeavors. Yes, Dan happens to be one of the greatest drummers around and one of the very best I've ever had the honor of playing with. His musical abilities are extensive and his experience is vast. From touring Tribute bands to Symphony Orchestras, Dan has done it all.

Dan served in the Air Force and, over the years, continued to serve his church and the community in many ways. He has always given so much of himself for no other reason than it is simply his calling to lift others up. It's our turn now to recognize his need and lift him up. I don't know anyone more deserving.

When you meet Dan, you know you've met someone extraordinary, intelligent, and compassionate with an endless depth of character and integrity. One of the things I love most about Dan is his unyielding sense of humor. Even through these tough times, it remains in defiance of the odds. But above all, his faith in God's will remains unbreakable.

I humbly ask you to consider helping Dan and his family get through the most difficult time of their lives. Your thoughts, prayers and donations will help Dan get through his next surgery and on to a new kidney and a new beginning. The world is a better place with Dan in it.
