Cynthiana's 2017 Mural Projects

Donation protected
In 2016, thanks to the support of the community, the largest known Walking Dead Mural in the world  was created by international mural artist, Sergio Odeith in June.
The Cynthiana Arts Council would again like to ask for support for the scheduled 2017 murals for Cynthiana.
Sergio Odeith will be returning at the end of July to pay homeage to the great Joe B. Hall, with a mural on the side of the Masonic Lodge building on Main Street (the old Key Market building).  Coach Hall is a legend in the world of Kentucky Basketball and what better way to honor him than with a mural in his hometown by a world renowned artist?
The second scheduled mural is one highlighting our rich bourbon history. It will feature four Cynthiana Distillery whiskey bottles: A.Keller bourbon, Old Poindexter bourbon, Vanhook whiskey and Old Lewis Hunter. It will be displayed on the side of Licking Valley Laser Works building on Walnut Street.
Why should you dontate? Cynthiana Arts Councils main objective is to highlight the history and things that make Cynthiana and Harrison County shine through art. The Walking Dead mural brings hundreds of people to our town each month, which increases our tourism and exposure of the arts.
The money raised will go towards airfare costs, food and room stay, mural fee and any other costs that may occur during the completion of the two murals.
Please consider donating to the mural project and helping make Cynthiana an art and history destination.
