We have been renting in Eldon for 6 months, and we love this town! Unfortunately our current landlord wants to sell, and we have to leave. The only rentals in town are WAY too small for our above average family size, so we have decided to buy!
We found a fantastic house, and the sellers accepted our offer and will cover all closing costs!
We planned to use our income taxes for a down payment, but the federal government had other ideas for that money. As a direct result, my income to debt ratio plummeted, making our dream home ineligible for a USDA loan. And only eligible for an FHA if our sellers came down in price.
Our fabulous realtor talked to the sellers, and they still said yes!
Now, to get our awesome home we have to come up with 4k to put down on the loan and earnest money.
We hate to ask ANYONE for help, but sometimes you get to a place in life where you have to put your hand out and hope someone will reach out theirs and help you up.
Friends, we are in that place. I know most of you are in similar financial situations, and we understand that. Every little bit helps. Every little bit is appreciated. And it never hurts to ask.
