Justin & Kimberly Hysler

On Sept 21st Justin & Kimberly were traveling by car in North Carolina. They were visiting his grandparents so they could meet his new wife. They were involved in a 50 mph head on crash. A car swerved and hit them while trying to avoid a truck who had failed to yield the right away. The impact was 100 mph or greater as the speed limit was 55 mph. There was no skidding and no time to react. They were life flighted to a trauma hospital in Greenville, NC. Kimberly is still in ICU. She has had 3 surgeries, first and second being a colon resection . She has had 4 toes pinned on her foot and muscle and fascia reattached to her right hip. She will have to have at least one more surgery on her hip. She has spent 5 days on a vent. She will be in the hospital for several more weeks. After discharge rehabilitation. They are 600 miles from home. Justin has been discharged but is still in pain, he is staying at the hospial and sleeping a few hours a day in a hotel across the street. They need extra money to pay expenses while out of town.
