"Youth In Action With A Purpose" is a youth ministry Angel Belcher started several years ago. The purpose and intent was to take loving children that basically had no parents because the people they were living with really took no interest in the young kids. They had no one to love and care for them, but they had no place to go, no one to turn to, until "Angel" came along. She began taking in these loving young girls and boys. The longest resident at Angel's Home has been with her 9 years, she welcomed him at the age of 11 months. At one time Angel had 21 children. She has fed, clothed, enrolled them in school, she takes them for regular doctor visits, and to the hospital during emergencies. She has taken care of the children at her own expense, while the biological parents receive money through government assistance and other programs, and most, if all don't even hold a job. On the other hand, Angel has made it her goal to see that these loving young kids get a decent, collage education. As Angel has told me many times, "Mr. Ron, it ain't easy, but God called me to do this."
Angel's house is a small house, only about 1,000 square feet. The fit is very tight, but Angel refuses to turn any children away. Through donations a few years ago she was able to begin expansion on the home in order to provide more bedrooms and bathrooms. The funding slowed to basically nothing and the expansion effort stopped as well.
Angel's kids become a part of her "Youth Ministry" when they first set foot in their new home. They pray together everyday for God to bless them and their home, and to ask the Lord to continue to provide for their needs. Some of the children have gone off to college and some have gone to serve their country.
Angel ask me one day if there was any way I could help her and the children finally realize their dream, to see "Angel's House" completed. That is when I set up the Go Fund Me account. I am personally managing the account in hopes of reaching the goal. When we do I will begin obtaining contractors to get the project re-started.
If you see it in your heart to help any amount will be appreciated. I want to thank those that have contributed to the account, and although I know everyone can't give large a large amount, $5, 10, 25 or what ever you can comfortably contribute, every amount helps and will be equally appreciated.
