Saving Sadie

Stephanie and Wyatt welcomed Sadie into their family and they all fell in love with her. Unfortunately, they found out yesterday that she has a very severe heart condition with a poor prognosis of less than a year without a very expensive surgery. So, it has been extremely emotionally exhausting for them to have to make some very difficult decisions and tell their 3 children who are absolutely positively obsessed with this pup and won’t let her out of their sight. Lots of tears have been shed today in the Clark family.  After speaking with the vet today, Stephanie and Wyatt have elected to have the surgery.  Her diagnosis is Patent Ductus Arteriosis (PDA), which is an issue with her heart. The vet said it’s very minimal risk and almost 100% guarantee she lives a normal healthy life. The estimate for the surgery is $3,500 and they have already paid an additional $500 in diagnostic fees. The amount is set at $3,000 because they were able to get a refund for the $1,000 they paid for her through the breeder. Stephanie and Wyatt are two of the most generous people I know. They are good friends and wonderful parents. They would never ask for help, so I am asking for them. No amount is too small. Thank you!
