Curing Her Cancer
Donation protected
The photo you see here is my mom. I took this shortly after she had received her morphine and the pain had subsided. It was the first smile I had seen on her in days. We had learned that the small tumor in her eye, the one we thought had been fully cured was back. Her back pain wasn't just from working too hard at her second job as a nurses aid. The cancer, diagnosed as metastatic choroidal melanoma, had spread. Into several vertebrae, her lungs and her liver the scans show. She jaundiced now, very jaundiced, the initial chemo hasn't helped shrink the tumor in the liver and it's blocking some ducts or another they tell us. causing more swelling and pain.
The current treatment plan calls for immunotherapy at $4,000 a treatment. That's our part, after her insurance as a civil service employee. We don't know how many it will take but we were told it's done every 21 days.
We can't wait to try to save up the money, she's failing to fast and we were already trying to figure out how she could possibly afford to even retire
Please help. if you possibly can.
