Study Abroad in Québec

I have the opportunity to study abroad in Québec this summer, and considering I'm on track to graduate this December, this is my last chance to enjoy the immersion of the Francophone world!
Québec is the only fortified city in North America and during the summer is the best time to visit and be immersed in the culture and language. My goal is to become an interpreter/translator and having the exposure to their unique dialect will help me be more well-rounded in my comprehension of the French language. It will help provide a more human and natural experience that you can't necessarily find in the traditional classroom.
This was somewhat of a last minute realization, and I'm required to commit to the program before I am notified of any financial aid I may get, so I'm (unfortunately) flying into this financially blind, but I am dedicated to finding a way to make it work!
My course costs are $6,000, which includes tuition, housing, 10 meals/ week and some cultural events. In addition, I have to pay for airfare, passport, books, additional meals, and for any extra cultural events/sight-seeing I want to do outside of the included events. I am told to expect to spend an extra ~$2,000 for these incidentals.
Half of my costs are due on May 25th, 2019, and the other half is due on June 25th, 2019.
If anyone is kind enough to help me actualize this dream, I will send you (or bring you home) some souvenirs or memorabilia from Québec! You can make a specific request if you wish!
