On September 8, 2019, we unexpectedly lost a mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend.
Marbella Leon-Barragan was known for her loving and bright personality that would make anyone feel at home. She was a caring and kind mother to four beautiful children and a wonderful wife to her fireman husband Martin Barragan (San Jose Fire Department, Station 9).
As an accomplished real estate agent, she helped many families find their dream home and was very loved in the Gilroy community. Marbella's friendships reached far, and she had a strong bond with anyone she met.
In the wake of this tragedy, our family is not only facing emotional turmoil but financial hardship with this unexpected cost. With a heavy heart, we have agreed to allow a, next-phase Go Fund Me, to help us get through this impossibly difficult time. We are reaching out to our community to help with the cost of the funeral and anything else that will arise.
