Help WFR continue rescuing our wildlife!

Wild Florida Rescue (WFR) is a non-profit organization focused on the rescue of injured wildlife and emergency transport to licensed veterinarians for triage and rehabbers for continued care. We currently receive and respond to calls from all of Brevard County. We are the only wildlife emergency ambulance in the county.
WFR has responded to 2,960 calls in 2017 and 4,507 calls in 2018 and a steadily increasing number in 2019!
We receive calls from the public as well as Brevard County Sheriff's Office Animal Services, FWC (Fish & Wildlife Conservation) and Police & Fire Rescue.
We have been blessed to receive all the help we have been given thus far!
Our previous gofundme helped us with startup costs.
We are a non-profit organization that provides a free service to all. However, we have running costs and we need your help to continue helping Brevard's wildlife!
WFR estimates the yearly cost of gas to be $4,000. This would secure enough gas for a year of rescues, allowing WFR the freedom to work on acquiring sustaining funds.
WFR cannot legally operate its ambulance without insurance. The annual cost of vehicle insurance is $3,500.
We also are still in need of a portable oxygen concentrator. This most important piece of equipment gives needed oxygen to injured or sick animals, or animals in shock, greatly increasing the chance of survival during transport. The cost for this is $2,200.
WFR also needs a portable x-ray machine. Emergency rescue means most patients have suffered some form of trauma. An x-ray machine would allow us to see internal injuries and stabilize patients far better than before.
Additionally, we are looking for an in-kind sponsor to donate office space, which would allow for public interactions, and storage of small equipment and office supplies. In ideal conditions, we would also have a small triage area in which local volunteering veterinarians could provide emergency care. We also hope to one day have land so we can give forever homes to some of our non releasable wildlife that may otherwise be euthanized if the animal can't be placed in one.
