Crusade for Cruz Family

A member of the Bergen Catholic Crusaders and Union Farmers family needs our help. Joe Cruz, proud father of a Bergen Catholic Crusader and a Fighting Farmer Alum Class of 88 is in the fight of his life. Joe was forced to retire after 24 years with the Essex County Correctional Department when he fell ill more than 5 years ago.  Joe's family recently received the horrible news a few days ago that his heart is not strong enough to support another surgery and his condition is terminal.  

Joe, with the support of his family has fought for the last five years but as his doctors have stated his fate now lies in the Lord's hands. Joe, like most of us is too proud to ask for help. Joe's illness has unfortunately left his family in dire straits and facing eviction from their home in 30 days unless We can help.

Joe's battle has taken an extraordinary financial toll on his family as they have found themselves in more than 200K dollars worth of debt. We know that for anyone, this is an unfathomable amount to even imagine but if every person who has been touched by Joe or his fight gives just a little, we can accomplish a lot.
