Crumpet's Hip Replacement Operation

Hi everyone.

I started this page because of a recent injury to my mum's black labrador, Crumpet. He injured his leg at the park on Sunday the 7th of May, and when my mum took him to the vet we learned that he has extreme hip dysplasia and needed both of his hips replaced at £14,000 (£7,000 per hip). 

We've had the operation for the first hip done, thanks in part to the generosity of many wonderful people who have donated here, and my savings. The second hip needs to be replaced as soon as possible though.

The pet insurance will cover the first £4,000. This means that we need to raise another £3,000 for the second hip replacement, or Crumpet won't be able to have the surgery.

If this happens the vet has made it clear that Crumpet will be in a great deal of pain with no way of fixing the problem...

My mum is a dinner lady and just cannot raise that kind of money, so this is basically all I could think to do to help get Crumpet the help he needs.

Anything that anyone can give will be greatly appreciated, please help us to help Crumpet.
