Crossfit bandera road fire

On Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at 2:20am CrossFit Bandera Road caught fire. CFBR is a second home to over 150 athletes from Old Town Helotes and the San Antonio area. The GoFundMe donations will go towards the temporary relocation of our gym, buying equipment that insurance limits wont cover, to continue to pay our staff and keep the business from closure. Owner, Damon Mariano, Head Coach AJ Mora, all of the CFBR staff and members are extremely thankful for the support from the community and the generous donations.
We are currently renting the building that was destroyed and have our own insurance. However, the insurance policy limits even will not cover the loss totally and getting those fund could be delayed beyond a point that would be catostrophic for the gym. In the mean time, we are going to try find local gyms for us to use for daily wods and host the CrossFit Open friday night lights for 17.4 and 17.5. 100% of the funds will go directly to the business and not used for profit in any way. If any money is given in excess of the money needed to sustain and rebuild we will donate the reminder to the American Cancer Society as we are holding a 5K for them in June 2017.
