Crockpot Theatre - 2019

Donación protegida
Crockpot Theatre is a collection of new works created by artists across disciplines.

We have assembled a team of incredible artists - from dancers to illustrators to actors to writers.  Each artist is given common ‘ingredients’ they must include in their work. Over 6 weeks, they create a new work from scratch, and when it’s done simmering, they serve it up to you ---with a gallery showing and three performances March 15th and 16th at the Phoenix Theater in Minneapolis.

While we embrace the low-cost model of creating with what we have on hand, we need help raising $1,500 to cover the cost of:

-Space for rehearsals and performances

-Technicians, administrators, and personel to help organize the show, display work, and run performances

-Printing and marketing needs

-Seed funds for the next Crockpot project

Great art is created when many people contribute to a shared experience – both on stage and behind the scenes. Be a valuable part of our work by donating in any amount and spreading word of this one-of-a-kind experience in the Twin Cities.

A donation of $10 covers the cost of printing 10 posters

A donation of $35 provides one day’s worth of rehearsal space

A donation of $150 pays a lighting designer/board operator for our run of performances

***And starting right now, the next 10 people to donate one hundred dollars or more will be the inaugural members of Crockpot TASTE MAKERS, receiving two free tickets to a special preview performance on March 14, which includes dinner with the artists before the performance. TASTE MAKERS also receive recognition in the program and on Crockpot’s website.

Donate to Crockpot Theatre and you give the key ingredient in our recipe for great art: a community of support!
