Central Regional Space Program

As students in the Leadership Principles and Practices class at Central Regional High School (Bayville, NJ), we are trying to raise money to launch a high-altitude balloon into near space. Our main objective is to capture images of the Earth's curve and the thin blue line of the atmosphere.  We will have a GoPro camera within the balloon's payload, along with other technical data measurement tools that will record the whole process.

In order to continue our objective we must first raise enough money to purchase the supplies outlined below. We have spent the last three months conducting research and have determined that these supplies provide us with the best probability of being successful. 

Once we raise enough money, we will order the materials and work together as a class to construct and launch a data collection payload. While working to achieve this goal our class will continue to utilize the following skills: budgeting, engineering, task delegation, team building, and time management This will not only be a great educational opportunity, but also an exciting experience that will not be forgotten.
