Cristian Rodríguez, is a Colombian professional tennis player he is 27 years old.

His life in tennis begins when he was less than 6 years old as a caddie in Guaymaral Club in Bogota, where his father was a tennis coach. He used the time between his caddie shifts to learn Tennis, and that is how he polished his skills in the sport. His hard work started to pay off. He was national champion twice, at 12 and 14 years old, but then things changed. Because he did not have the financial resources, he was forced to leave Colombia. In 2015, he returned to the sport thanks to an invitation offered  to him by Bogota’s tennis league. He represented Colombia in the Juegos Bolivarianos where he won silver and bronze medals. Then, in 2018 he played Davis Cup representing Colombia against Barbados.

He is  already ranked in the 360 position globally. His dream is to play a grand slam.  He needs to be in the top 200 players, and he can only have a better ranking by playing continuously in the coming tournaments, which take place in different countries. That implies housing, transportation and associated costs with the sport. Tennis is an expensive sport, and until today he has supported his professional career with hard work, mainly teaching tennis lessons. He has come to the point, where keeping up with the expenses required in the sport is not sustainable for him. That is why he requests your support wholeheartedly. He wants to commit a 100% to Tennis and prepare continuously to achieve his dream.

Several doors have closed on him after he requested help, so on this opportunity I would like to ask that you go to the link below and support him with your contribution. The funds obtained from this initiative will be used for his participation in the upcoming tournaments, which will allow him to improve his ranking and get one step closer to his goal.  Every penny counts, so your contribution is highly appreciated. Unfortunately if the goal is not met Cristian probably would need to forget his dream and leave professional tennis forever.
