Create a Pastor Ed Memorial Scholarship

My father, Pastor Ed, didn't become a minister until late in life. Not until he was 60 years old. But once he became a Pastor, he realized a lifelong dream and set to work influencing the lives not only of those who attended the church he was put in charge of, but many, many more.
Part of the reason Pastor Ed wasn't able to realize his dream until later in life was because he lacked the funds to attend college and earn his divinity degree. During his time as Pastor, to help others realize their dream and goal of serving the church, Pastor Ed donated a regular amount directly to the university that he earned his degree from, Vanguard University , to help others pay for their education.
On December 10, 2020, Pastor Ed became another one of the victims of the COVID epidemic that has been allowed to run rampant in our country.
But we don't want his memory or his desire to help others to end. So, we are organizing this GoFundMe campaign in his memory to raise a scholarship fund for others who are attending college to become ministers to the many people who need the love and support of the church to help them live healthy, joyous lives.
We've set a lofty goal for this campaign, but we hope that you will not only give what you can, but share this campaign with others. Every cent that you give minus the cost of running this campaign on GoFundMe will be donated to the general scholarship fund at Vanguard University in Pastor Ed's name.
