Crash Relief Fund

Stan Lee & Tom Macknight were among those who crashed off the coast of Anna Maria Island yesterday in a terrible helicopter accident. These two men are my good friends and some of the first people I was lucky enough to meet as I started my production company.  Stan has done countless charity events with his company including the most recent with helping Sarasota Memorial Hospital at a fundraising event in which I called him the morning of and he was still there. Selfless, charming, someone whom when you speak to you never want the conversation to end.. Stan is one of the kindest most wonderful human beings I am lucky enough to know. Not to mention tack sharp when it comes to flying.  Best date night ever the night Lauren and I went up with him to sore high above Sarasota and the surrounding beaches at sunset. Tom has so much talent for film and has done many daring shoots all over the country and world. Hanging out of a Heli was just another Tuesday for him. I am so lucky to have him as a friend and mentor. To read the news today horrified but thankful he walked away from crashing at excess speeds of 70mph 10 feet above the gulf I knew I had to do something to help. We are not sure of the cause of the crash as of yet but what we do know is that Stan is in critical condition (but stable) and Tom although being able to walk away is faced with loosing all of his equipment and being left with medical bills. After seeing the outpouring of support from friends through social media I am asking all of you wonderful people to contribute (anything you can) to help each of these men heal and be reunited with their families without the stress of medical bills and all the chaos that comes with the aftermath of an accident like this. Money isn't the only way to help I am sure most of you know these men and their families personally so any help that can be offered would go a long way.
